GHSON Scholarship
Since our inception in 1992, the General Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association has supported many nurses through their education and through this scholarship, intends to continue the legacy of nursing education in the province.
This scholarship will be awarded annually to a student in the Bachelor of Nursing (Collaborative) Program at Memorial University of Newfoundland who excels in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year clinical experience, and thereby displays the values so important to the General Hospital School of Nursing Association.
Methods of Giving
1. Give Online

- For “Please direct my gift to…” , Click “Other”.
- Write “GHSON Scholarship” under Additional Gift information”.
2. Give Over Phone

3. Give By Cheque
- Cheque is made out to “Memorial University of Newfoundland”.
- Cheque memo says “GHSON Alumni Association Scholarship”.
